I love to cook and here are some recipes that I enjoy.

Natalie’s Whole Wheat Bread: I started making bread instead of buying it after reading Jen’s Hatmakers Seven and realize how many ingredients make up the bread we buy in stores. I found an easy recipe and have stuck with it for the past 2 years. I sometimes add 1/2 cup of oatmeal to reduce the amount of flour. Besides that it is just an easy recipe that tastes really good.

Easy Black Bean Burgers: I used to make these all the time, but lately my taste buds have changed, but they are a quick easy side or main dish. I love eating them on the side with pasta as a burger with all the fixings.

Chicken Stir Fry: This is one dish I make regularly. I change up the veggies to give it some variety, but this is pretty standard. Sometimes I add peas, spinach or anything else that needs to be used up. This is my mother in-laws recipe so you know my husband loves it.

Chicken Salad Sandwich: I just love chicken salad sandwiches and when you substitute mayo with avocado it just makes it even better. I have used grapes, blueberries and strawberries as the fruit.

Very Veggie Chicken Pot Pie: Just a yummy veggie filled dish. 🙂
