Thank You for Sharing Your Deployment Stories

Thank you to everyone who shared their story. I started collecting deployment stories early this year and I can’t believe how it all came together and I was able to collect so many amazing stories. My original plan for the series was to collect as many stories as I could and fill in the empty days with information from my deployment.

thank you for sharing your deployment stories, without your willingness to share this series wouldn't have been possible.

But through the help of others and sending out lots of requests for people to share. I was able to fill all the spots I needed for this 31 Days series. I can’t even begin to share with you all the things I learned about deployment and about the amazing things women and men are doing overseas.

Thank you

Thank you to all the military spouses who were willing to share their experience of what it is like to be left behind. The series wouldn’t be complete without your stories included. As a now military spouse, I realize how much each military family must sacrifice. It doesn’t matter what your life stage is, when your significant other deploys a part of you is missing. Thank you to all the military spouses for what you do.

I am currently working to put all the stories I have collected into an ebook. It will be available soon.

And I can’t  forget to thank my readers. Everyone who took the time to read one or all of the stories is showing their support for the military and their families. As I said Day 1, at this time in history there is a great divide between military families and civilian ones. I hope that no matter where you lie in the spectrum you were able to learn a little bit about what the military is doing to help all around the world.

Military families are making regular sacrifices.

This is Day 31 of 31 Deployment Stories. Check out the full series here. As always, I am still collecting military deployment stories. You can submit a story on my via my google document or email me directly at airman2mom (at) gmail (dot) com with any questions or to submit your own deployment story. I am also looking for experiences from the other side of deployment, parents, siblings, spouses, friends, anyone connected to a deployment. I would love to hear from you.

Please email me (airman2mom (at) gmail (dot) com) I really do appreciate everyone who has played a part in this series. Thank you.
