We went to Disneyland last week to celebrate Baby J being one month old. Being in Southern California and having passes has made my love for Disneyland grow exponentially. I missed going and suggested we buy tickets for Christmas. It was a fun trip and I’m so glad we went and can’t wait to go back.
I would write tips for going to Disneyland with a one month old, but really all I can say is be flexible and know what works for you. I don’t think it would have been possible with baby number one, but since I am comfortable with breastfeeding and had the ergo to hold him it worked out nicely. We had things we hoped to do, but knew if everything went bad we would just go home. Guess that is one of the benefits of living 40 minutes from Disneyland. In the end we were able to do most of the things we wanted to do and even got a great spot for the fire works and enjoyed the World of Color show in California Adventure.
I hope you like some of the memories we captured.
We got some pictures as a family of 4. We got the two with J out of the ergo after lunch. We love getting pictures at Paradise Pier because we have one there when we went to Disneyland on our honeymoon.
What a little ham, Chewy had to get Michael to put Luke down. He kept motioning for him to put him down and finally we caught on. Made for some cute photos. And when I asked L what his favorite part of our day was the next morning he said Wookie!
This photo was truly the best part of my day. I haven’t been able to ride “roller coasters” with my little man because I was pregnant so this was a fun treat and the fact that Michael got some pictures made it even more special. We had so much fun on Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.
One of the things that wasn’t open before our passes expired was the Old Innovations building, now it is Star Wars and Marvel. We didn’t have time to go up the Marvel section, but we did meet Chewy and Darth Vadar. It was pretty neat.
