Create

This week’s word for Tuesday at Ten is Create. When I first saw that was the word I thought of a song.

Create in me a clean heart, oh God
And renew a right spirit within me
Create in me a clean heart, oh God
And renew a right spirit within me

Cast me not away from Thy presence, oh Lord
And take not Thy holy spirit from me
Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation
And renew a right spirit within me

Create in me a clean heart, oh God
And renew a right spirit within me
Create in me a clean heart, oh God
And renew a right spirit within me

Cast me not away from Thy presence, oh Lord
Take not Thy holy spirit from me
Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation
And renew a right spirit within me

Create in me a clean heart, oh God
And renew a right spirit within me
Create in me a clean heart, oh God
And renew a right spirit within me

Cast me not away from Thy presence, oh Lord
Take not Thy holy spirit from me
Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation
And renew a right spirit within me

I could probably reflect more on what the word create means. It can be related to yourself personally as you restart and recreate your own life or maybe your thoughts are focused on a creating new life. It does not matter where your heart is when you ask God in he can make changes you will not even dream of.

What is God creating in your life right now?

  1. I also thought of Psalm 51:10 while I was writing my own post on ‘Create’.
In fact, another blogger friend of mine, who is not taking part in ‘Tuesday @ Ten’ also mentioned it today!
This is my third time to read ‘Create in me a clean heart, Oh, God…’ within a few hours.
He must be creating a clean heart in me right now! 🙂

  2. I saw the word and first thought…Create in me a clean heart, O Lord! Perhaps this is the cry of our hearts…to be clean…to be renew….re-created…resurrected!

Thank you for sharing your heart.
Thank you for your encouragement to seek the LORD who creates…who makes all things new!!

    • Very true. It sometimes hard to hear how important it is to listen to the inner voice telling us what we need. What the true cry of our heart is. Being clean in this broken world is always needed.
